Cubed - Welded Nail & Brass Sculpture

This original design and sculpture was created by Daniel Potampa in 2006, and has made its way into homes and offices on almost every continent since its inception.

Inspired by a particularly stressful week, nothing quite helps as much as a little welding hood time. I think we've all felt this way at one time or another, and a reminder of that moment serves to fuel new directions.

Old style cut masonry nails, welded end to end create this almost sinister cube. The little "brain" trapped inside is solid brass, started from a single molten drop.

Hand machined Aluminum base.

Dimensions are about 10"T x 10"W x 10"D (Stands about 16" at tallest point)
