A good design should highlight natural beauty. It's rarely improved upon, and should always be manipulated with balance and care.

This large wall hanging features a nicely proportioned grid of torch blackened steel, framing tiles of different exotic and domestic woods. Each species has been thoughtfully selected for its unique grain signature and color tone. Tiles are high grade solid wood, no veneers or plywood.

Sticking to my personal rule, no stain or artificial colorants have been used. A careful sanding and satin clear coat are all that are needed to accentuate and protect what's already been perfected by Nature.
